Abstract
Cílem mé bakalářské práce je vytvoření skleněné instalace, která je inspirována kulovitými oblými tvary, vzduchovými bublinami a povrchovým napětím. Všechna tato témata mě dlouhodobě fascinují a pracuji s nimi téměř v každé semestrální práci. V této bakalářské práci se snažím na kulaté tvary nahlížet z jiné perspektivy a lehce je narušovat. V první rešeršní části bakalářské práce popisuji počátky této myšlenky. Dále se zabývám vznikem kulatého tvaru, jeho filozofií a inspiruji se umělci, kteří s tímto tvarem dlouhodobě pracovali. Praktická část se skládá z návrhů, skic a pokusů, které postupně vyústí ve finální výrobek.
The goal of my bachelor thesis is to create a glass instalation in the Gallery N, inspired by round shapes, air bubbles and surface tension. Round shapes have inspired me for a long time and I work with them in almost all of my termly work. In this bachelor thesis I´m trying to look at the round shapes from a different perspective and also I´m trying to disturb them, for example by imprinting my fingers or architectural elements of gallery into their round shapes.In the first chapter of the research part of my bachelor thesis I´m writing about the beginning of this idea. In the next chapters I´m writing about the origin of the round shape, it´s philosophy and other artists that worked with this shape for a long time. The practical part consists of tests and experiments, that led to the final product.
