Abstract
Diplomová práce je intervencí do zdevastovaného kostela Panny Marie v Příbenicích. Zabývá se principem zrcadlení. Práce otáčí vztahy, které v daném místě existují. Jde o ponoření do prostoru konkrétního místa. Vytváří se vrstva prostoru, do které není možné vstoupit.V práci se snažím reagovat na dané místo, vdechnout mu nový život. S místem jsem osobně spjatá, řadu let mapuji prostor kostela. Zásah je dočasný, i když zamýšlený jako dlouhodobý. Prvek vody a zrcadlení v křesťanském kostele není náhodná volba. Voda je tu kontrastem, zrcadlem, průhledem a přidanou hloubkou jak v rovině formální tak i obsahové.
The diploma thesis is an intervention into the devastated church of the Virgin Mary in Příběnice. It deals with the principle of mirroring. The thesis turns the relations which exist in the given place around. It is a matter of submerging into the area of a specific place. A layer of space, impossible to enter, is created.In the thesis I am trying to react to the given place and breathe a new life into it. I am personally attached to the place as I have been mapping out the church area for many years. The intervention is temporary even though it is intended to last for a longer period of time. The element of water and mirroring in a Christian church was not chosen by accident. The water is here a contrast, a mirror, an opening and an additional depth both in the sense of formality as well as in the way of content.
