Abstract
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na španělský detektivní román obecně a na dílo Artura Péreze-Reverteho, jednoho z nejslavnějších současných španělských spisovatelů. První část práce pojednává o základních charakteristikách detektivního románu a jeho evoluci a historii ve Španělsku. Hlavní část práce je věnována analýze románu Vlámský obraz (La tabla de Flandes,1990), který je dobrou ukázkou autorovy detektivní tvorby. V tomto románu autor pracuje nejen s detektivními prvky, ale využívá také odkazy ke španělskému výtvarnému umění. Práce také pojednává o recepci románu - jeho úspěchu u čtenářů a filmové adaptaci z roku 1994.
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the Spanish detective novels in general and the work of Arthur Pérez-Reverte, one of the most famous contemporary Spanish writers, in particular. The first part handles the basic characteristics of the detective novel and its evolution and history in Spain. The main part is devoted to the analysis of the novel The Flanders Panel(La tabla de Flandes, 1990), which is a good example of the author's detective work. In this novel, the author works not only with detective elements, but uses references to the Spanish visual arts as well. The work also deals with the reception of the novel - its success with readers and the film adaptation from 1994.
