Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá modernistickými prvky v povídkách významného nikaragujského spisovatele Rubéna Daría (1867-1916), jenž bývá považován za hlavního iniciátora a předního představitele hispanoamerického modernismu. Práce se nejprve zabývá historicko-společenským kontextem a zasazením autora a jeho díla do dobového literárního a historického kontextu. Další část je pak věnována samotnému autorovi, pojednává o jeho životě a díle obecně a rovněž se zaměřuje na vymezení literárního žánru povídky. Následuje rozbor Daríových povídek (zařazených např. do jeho díla Azul vydaného v roce 1888), v němž je hlavní důraz kladem na nalezení modernistických prvků a zkoumání jejich užití. Rovněž bude analyzován celkový estetický účinek povídek.
This bachelor's thesis focuses on elements of Hispanic modernism in short stories of significant Nicaraguan writer Rubén Darío (1867-1916) who is considered as the initiator and the leading representative of Hispanic modernism. The thesis first deals with the social-historical context and the placement of the author and his work in the contemporary literary. The next part is devoted to the author himself, discusses his life and works in general and also focuses on defining the literary genre of the short story. This is followed by an analysis of Darío's short stories (included, for example, in his work Azul published in 1888), where the main emphasis is on finding modernist elements and exploring their use. The overall aesthetic effect of the short stories will also be analysed.
