Abstract
This study from regional
and building history and the history of technology focuses on the subject of
the water saw-mill in the mountain village of Oldřichov v Hájích in Jizera
Mountains. It casts light on the evolution of woodworking in the mountains
and the village as well as the manufacturing technology and consequent
building specifi cs of rural structures of a technical character.
