Abstract
Bakalářská práce pojednává o Romech a jejich tradicích a zvycích. Jejím cílem je podat přehled o tradičních genderových aspektech romské kultury. Úvodní kapitoly se zabývají uvedením do problematiky, vymezením pojmu tradiční a definicí genderu. Následující kapitola pojednává o genderu v tradiční romské rodině, tedy o postavení muže a ženy v romské rodině, tradiční výchově chlapců a dívek, tradicích v romské rodině po svatbě a konceptu rituální čistoty. Poslední kapitola, věnována genderové hierarchii v romské komunitě, se ve svých podkapitolách zabývá postavením muže a ženy v romské společnosti, jejich rozdílnými způsoby obživy a jejich tradičními oděvy. Některé kapitoly jsou doplněny texty písní, které konkrétně zmiňují zkoumaný jev.
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of Roma people and their traditions and customs. Its aim is to provide an overview of traditional gender aspects of Roma culture. The introductory chapters deal with the introduction, the definition of the term traditional and the definition of gender. The following chapter discusses the gender in the traditional Roma family, i.e. the position of men and women in the Roma family, the traditional upbringing of boys and girls, the traditions in the Roma family after wedding and the concept of ritual purity. The final chapter, devoted to the gender hierarchy in the Roma community, in its subchapters deals with the position of men and women in Roma society, their different ways of livelihood and their traditional clothing. Some chapters are supplemented by song lyrics that specifically mention the phenomenon under study.
