Abstract
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá využitím kancelářských aplikací a nástrojů Business Intelligence v controllingu při vyhodnocování projektů s cílem navrhnout nástroje pro zefektivnění práce s daty. Diplomová práce je zpracována v prostředí nadnárodní společnosti, které podniká v oblasti výroby interiérových svítidel. Výsledkem je popis řešení nahrazujícího výpočty pomocí aplikace MS Excel nástrojem Power BI. Návrh řešení na zefektivnění práce s daty vychází z teoretických východisek v oblasti controllingu, reportingu a vybraných kancelářských aplikací. Dále je pak návrh založen na analýze současného způsobu zpracování a prezentování dat z vyhodnocených projektů. Návrh řešení je zpracován v souladu se současnými trendy v reportingu a s respektováním zavedené podnikové informační strategie.
This diploma thesis deals with the use of office applications and Business Intelligence tools in controlling when evaluating projects with the aim to design tools for streamlining work with data.The diploma thesis investigated this topic with reference to a multinational company, which operates in the field of interior lighting production. The main result described in this thesis is the replacement of calculations in MS Excel by Power BI application. The proposed solution to increase the efficiency of work through data driven monitoring and decision making is based on the current academic thinking in the area of controlling, reporting and selected information systems.The proposal for improvement is based on the analysis of the current methods of processing and presentation of data from the evaluated projects. The solution proposal is prepared in accordance with current industry trends in reporting while respecting the established business information strategy.
