Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na sémantickou a estetickou charakteristiku motivů ve vybraných dílech Jakuba Demla. Mezi tyto texty z počátku dvacátého století patří prózy Hrad smrti a Tanec smrti společně s básněmi v próze Moji přátelé a Miriam, které svojí tematikou tvoří kontrastní dvojici prvním dvěma jmenovaným. Úvodní část práce je věnována představení Jakuba Demla, následující pasáže pojednávají o vybraných prózách a jejich zařazení do kontextu autorovy tvorby. V dalších kapitolách jsou analyzovány jednotlivé motivy tvořící motivickou strukturu Demlova díla.
This bachelor thesis is focused on semantical and aesthetical analysis of motifs in selected works of Jakub Deml. These texts from the beginning of the twentieth century include the prose Castle of Death and Dance of Death along with poems in prose My friends and Miriam, whose themes are a contrasting pair to the first two. The introductory part of the thesis consists of bibliographical background of Jakub Deml and following passages deal with selected proses and their inclusion in the context of the author's work. The following chapters analyse particular motifs forming the whole structure of Deml's texts.
