Abstract
Cílem diplomové práce je hodnocení výkonnosti podniku pomocí vybraných ukazatelů zhodnocení finanční výkonnosti vybraného podniku pomocí tradičních a moderních ukazatelů. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na vymezení základních pojmůa metod, souvisejících s vyhodnocením finanční situace podniku. V praktické části jsou teoretická východiska aplikována na vybraných podnik v letech 2013-2017. Nejprve je představen vybraný podnik, následně je vypracována finanční analýza pomocí poměrových ukazatelů. Dále jsou stanoveny vážené průměrné náklady na kapitál (WACC) a pomocí vypočteného WACC, stanovena výkonnost podniku prostřednictvím moderního ukazatele ekonomické přidané hodnoty (EVA). Pro porovnání vybraného podniku v rámci odvětví, je využito metody benchmarkingu. V závěru diplomové práce jsou navržena doporučení, která mohou přispět ke zlepšení finanční výkonnosti vybraného podniku.
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate business performance of a chosen company. For this evaluation traditional and modern indicators are used. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the definition of basic concepts and methods, which are related to the evaluation of financial situation of a company. In the practical part the theoretical concepts are applied in the selected company during the period 2013-2017. Firstly, the chosen company is described and then the financial analysis is performed by using selected financial rations. The partial aim of this thesis is to calculate the Weighted Average Costs of Capital (WACC) and then, by using this ratio, to determine the performance of a company using the Economic value added ratio. The method of benchmarking is used to compare the results of the analysed company with its competitors within an industry. In conclusion of this thesis recommendations leading to the improvement of the financial performance of the company in the coming years are made.
