Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá materiálem geopolymerem, přičemž se soustřeďuje na jeho vznik, vlastnosti a využití v běžném životě i umělecké sféře. Práce geopolymer představuje jako významný materiál v oblasti stavebnictví či architektury ale i jako materiál, který představuje zajímavou hmotu pro uměleckou tvorbu. Zkoumá estetický potenciál pomocí série experimentů, ve kterých je geopolymer v kombinaci s jinými materiály, s celkovým cílem uvolnění potenciálu, který by i tento materiál mohl mít pro uměleckou scénu. Generuje nové formy a funkce zmíněného materiálu s novou uměleckou hodnotou.
This diploma thesis deals with a material called Geopolymer and focuses on its origin,properties and application scenarios. The thesis presents the geopolymer as an importantmaterial within building industry or architecture as well as the artistic domain. It explores theaesthetic potentials of this material through a series of experiments in which geopolymer isused in combination with other materials with the overal aim of unleashingin the potentialsthat this material could have for the art scene. It genarates new forms nad functions ofmentioned material with a new artistic value.
