    Bankovní nástroje financování zahraničního obchodu

    This thesis clarifies the role of banks in export financing. The significance of export financing is stated in the first chapter, followed by explained reasons for its usage and the list of used instruments. They are introduced without reference to their providers. The following section explains the importance of state in the international trade support with main focus on financing and securing international transactions. State´s organizations, which are active in this sphere, are Česká exportní banka (ČEB) providing buyer´s credits, and Exportní garanční a pojišťovací společnost (EGAP) providing security and insurance. The content of the third chapter are bank instruments of international trade financing offered by commercial banks. These tools are divided into buyer´s credits and receivables discounting with and without recourse - forfaiting. They are described with the help of experienced and skilled experts from Komerční banka, a.s., where the author of the thesis collected information during his internship. The final part of the work contains real examples of the usage of introduced instruments.

    Devizové intervence jako nástroj měnové politiky centrální banky

    The aim of the diploma thesis is to contribute to a discussion concerning effectiveness of foreign exchange interventions serving as a monetary tool for the central bank. The initial section deals with exchange rate from various points of view and it constitutes a basis for further understanding of the subject. The theoretical introduction and classification of interventions, contained in the second section, offers a foundation for an analysis of the interventions{\crq} effectiveness. Classification is accompanied by exemplifications. A transformation of exchange rate system from the peg system to the current flexible system during the nineties is described in following part. A conclusion of final section is that foreign exchange interventions were in Czech experience partially effective. Nonetheless, it is not possible to identify a strategy, which would assure that the intervention brings the planned results.

    Vliv multikulturního prostředí na centrální řízení lidských zdrojů v české MNC

    The goal of this thesis is to analyze the influence of the various cultures on the human resources management in the multinational corporation LINET. LINET is on of the largest companies operating in the medical bed branch. The company uses subsidiaries in many countries all around the world, in order to secure its?market position. Therefore a perfect communication between the Czech headquarters and subsidiaries is essential. This is directly connected with all of the HR processes within the international environment of the company. These processes are influenced, at certain level, by the variety of the cultures of the different countries, where the subsidiaries based in. This thesis defines the factors, which can be influenced by the cultural diversity, in the area mentioned above. The author creates and prepares a research, which will be in the form of questionnaires for the employees in the subsidiaries of the LINET Company. This research will result in an internal manual of the LINET Company, which will include hints and recommendations to the communication and behaviour within the intercultural communication in the area of the human resources management.
