    Dům čp. 19 v Liberci-Františkově. Stopy založení a výstavby vsi ze druhé poloviny 17. století

    The text brings forward results of the areal and archival surve y of the building development in Františkov (now Liberec 10 district), founded in the half of the 17th century. It focuses on the contemporary remainders of the original urb an pattern and relicts of the oldest existing buildings. The fundamental part of the text was created thanks to the operational evidence of the nr. 19 Liberec- Františkov building, which remained to be the last survivor of the oldest building layer, moreover it is in unexpectedly authentic condition without modern modifications.

    Venkovská usedlost če. 2 v Kojecku, příspěvek k vývoji roubeného patrového domu na Českodubsku

    The study focuses on the building history of the house number 2 in Kojecko in the co ntext of a long-term survey of the oldest settlements of vernacular architecture in the Českodubsko region and in Pojizeří. It is a historical homestead with an interesting design. It is important to the knowledge of the development of the two-storey country houses. So far, the survey has focused on the regionally specific building stock of more archaic forms of a two-storey house with a high blocka of living rooms. The documentation of house no. 2 was mo tivated by the effort to supplement the survey with knowledge of the beginning of the ex tension of the type of a two-storey timbered house with a full chamber situated above the living room. The results of the research mainly specified the timeline of the beginning o f the occurrence of this variant of the house in the studied area. The construction of the house took place at the turn of the 17th and the 18th century. To some extent, it corresponds with the general assumption of this time. It builds on previous research, which provided ro ugh dating of the houses with high rooms between 1640s to the 1690s. The survey is supplement ed by an archival search of the building and the urban development of the locality.

    Venkovská usedlost čp. 5 v Kohoutovicích: poznatky z průzkumu patrového roubeného domu na Českodubsku…

    The article summarizes the documentation of house No. 5 in Kohoutovice, which was managed to be documented as part of a survey of the oldest representatives of vernacular architecture in Český Dub area and Jizera river area. This is a historic homestead in an extremely authentic structural form, important for understanding the development of a multi-storey country house. The documentation of house No. 5 was motivated by an effort to supplement and update older surveys, ranking the object among the representatives of the oldest surviving layer of a timber house in the region. The dendrochronological analysis placed the age of this house up to the fi rst third of the 19th century, and this conclusion can thus serve to complete the timeline of the development of the one-story timber house in the region. House No. 5, despite the overall maintenance, shows partial failures of the wooden structures, which may require more extensive replacements in the future. The house is protected as a cultural monument, so even its repairs should be carried out in accordance with monument principles. Apart from the partial modernization of the living area, the homestead has been preserved in an extremely authentic state with a number of valuable elements - for example, a set of historic door panels including fi ttings. It is a valuable representative of the wealthy farmstead in the researched area.
