- ItemDifferent Structures of PVA Nanofibrous Membrane for Sound Absorption Application(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2012) Mohrová, Jana; Kalinová, KláraThe thin nanofibrous layer has different properties in the field of sound absorption in comparison with porous fibrous material which works on a principle of friction of air particles in contact with walls of pores. In case of the thin nanofibrous layer, which represents a sound absorber here, the energy of sonic waves is absorbed by the principle of membrane resonance. The structure of the membrane can play an important role in the process of converting the sonic energy to a different energy type. The vibration system acts differently depending on the presence of smooth fibers in the structure, amount of partly merged fibers, or structure of polymer foil as extreme. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was used as a polymer because of its good water solubility. It is possible to influence the structure of nanofibrous layer during the production process thanks to this property of polyvinyl alcohol.

- ItemMožnosti výroby objemných zvukově pohltivých materiálů(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2010) Mitbauerová, Alexandra; Kalinová, KláraThis thesis deals with study of sound-absorptive properties of the fibrous layer of fibre compound that is created by the meltblown technology and electrospinning. The introductory part is a summary of theoretical findings on principles of sound absorption of various materials in context with their structure. The practical part deals with development of a fundamentally new sound-absorptive material and determination of the sound absorption coefficient of the fibrous layer in dependence on varying parameters. The resulting part is about evaluation of influence of various parameters on the sound absorption coefficient.
- ItemNanofibrous Resonant Membrane for Acoustic Applications(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2011) Kalinová, KláraBecause the absorption of lower-frequency sound is problematic with fibrous material made up of coarser fibers, highly efficient sound absorption materials must be developed. The focus of this paper is on the development of a new material with high acoustic absorption characteristics. For low-frequency absorption, structures based upon the resonance principle of nanofibrous layers are employed in which the resonance of some elements allows acoustic energy to be converted into thermal energy. A nanofibrous membrane was produced by an electrostatic spinning process from an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol and the acoustic characteristics of the material measured. The resonant frequency prediction for the nanofibrous membrane is based on research into its production parameters. The distance between electrodes during the electrostatic spinning process determines the average diameter of the nanofibers, and the outlet velocity of the material determines its area density. The average diameter of nanofibers was measured using the Lucia software package directly from an electron microscope image. The resonant frequency of nanofibrous membranes was determined from the sound absorption coefficient and transmission loss measurement.
- ItemNÁVRH A OPTIMALIZACE AKUSTICKÝCH SYSTÉMŮ ZALOŽENÝCH NA SYNERGII MEMBRÁNOVÉHO A DUTINOVÉHO REZONÁTORU(2019-10-18) Kalinová, KláraTato habilitační práce je souborem výzkumných aktivit a z nich vyplívajících poznatků jednak pro návrh a realizaci aplikovatelného akustického systému a také pro návrh a realizaci edukativních sestav pro studenty technických oborů. Jednotlivé kapitoly se opírají o publikované příspěvky v impaktovaných časopisech, resp. uvedených v databázích SCOPUS a WEB of SCIENCE, o udělené patenty, realizovaná díla, edukativní sestavy a exponát.

On the basis of these measurements, influence of different parameters on measured quantity is evaluated.

- ItemVývoj zvukově pohltivých dekoračních materiálů(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2011) Čečelská, Veronika; Kalinová, KláraValues were measured acoustic absorption factor depending on the frequency, transmission attenuation depending on frequency. Another variable is the measured thermal conductivity, specific thermal resistance and thickness of materials. The last measured value is the photometric throughput. When measuring throughput, we find the photometric values of degree, depending on the transmission wavelength. In the theoretical part describes the basic concepts which we needed in part to experimental testing. For all measurements of these four variables were measured values of selected textile materials in the layering.
