Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá realizací textilního objektu na téma severskámytologie. Textilní objekt představuje světový strom Yggdrasil. Ten ztělesňuje spojení mezi všemi devíti světy, které v této mytologii existují. Objekt lze rozložit a transformovat dopodoby tří oděvů. Oděvy symbolicky představují tři norny, sudičky. Ty vseverské mytologii symbolizují minulost, současnost a budoucnost. Jejich úkolem jeudržovat strom Yggdrasil při životě. Stejně tak jako jsou norny nedílnou součástí života Yggdrasilu, jsou oděvy nedílnou součástí textilního objektu. Celé téma podporuje využití luminiscence v podobě vzoru vytvořeného sítotiskem. To dodává objektu natajemnosti a mystičnosti.
This bachelor thesis discusses the process of creating an textile object inspired by norse mythology. The object represents Yggdrasil, the tree of life. The tree embodies connection between all of the nine worlds that exist in this mythology. This textile object can be transformed into three garments. These garments symbolises three norns, witches. Norns in norse mythology represent the past, the present and the future. Theirtask is to take care of Yggdrasil. As same as norns are important for Yggdrasil, thethree garments are important for the textile object. The whole theme is supported with luminiscence in form of pattern created by screen printing. It adds to the mysticism and mysteriouness of the whole object.
