dc.description.abstractThe bachelor´s dissertation dealt with the issue of parents´reactions to the birth of a disabled child. It drew from the current specialized literature and research which describes these specialized sources and it dealt with the interpretation of the described responses of the parents. Its goal was to characterize and analyze the reactions, responses and behaviour of the parents concerning the birth of a disabled child. The dissertation consisted of two main parts. It was a theoretical part which processed the specialized sources and with their help it described the individual phases of parents´responses and dealt too with the ethical aspects when the diagnosis is communicated by the doctor and with the most frequent errors that occur during the communication. The practical part established, based on discussions with open questions, the responses of 11 parents in the situation of the birth of a disabled child, their experience with doctors and other medical personnel and detected if these families were more exposed to the risk of the breakdown of the family. The results showed that the birth of a disabled child was an unexpected situation for the parents, accompanied with a shock, and that the parents had negative experience with doctors when the diagnosis was communicated. The specific suggested solutions were in the area of a suitable and emphatic approach of the doctor when communicating the diagnosis. The biggest asset of the bachelor´s dissertation regarding the issue it dealt with could be considered to be the detailed and synoptic elaboration of this issue, complemented and verified with the replies of the respondents concerning their responses.en
dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou reakcí rodičů na narození postiženého dítěte. Vycházela ze současné odborné literatury a výzkumů, které tyto odborné zdroje popisují a zabývala se interpretací popsaných projevů rodičů. Jejím cílem bylo charakterizovat a analyzovat reakce, projevy a chování rodičů na narození postiženého dítěte. Práci tvořily dvě hlavní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která zpracovala odborné zdroje a s jejich pomocí popisovala jednotlivé fáze prožívání rodičů a zabývala se též etickými aspekty při sdělování diagnózy lékařem, nejčastějšími chybami, které se objevují při sdělení. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí rozhovorů s otevřenými otázkami prožívání 11 rodičů v situaci narození postiženého dítěte, jejich zkušenosti s lékaři a dalším zdravotnickým personálem, zda jsou tyto rodiny více vystaveny riziku rozpadu rodiny. Výsledky ukázaly, že narození postiženého dítěte je pro rodiče neočekávaná situace doprovázená šokem a že rodiče mají špatné zkušenosti s lékaři při sdělování diagnózy. Konkrétní navrhovaná doporučení byla v oblasti vhodného a empatického přístupu lékaře při sdělení diagnózy. Za největší přínost práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možno považovat podrobné a souhrnné teoretické zpracování této problematiky doplněné a ověřené odpovědí respondentek o svém prožívání.cs
