dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickou a životní úrovní ČR v rámci evropského regionu. Práce je rozvržena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení základních pojmů kvalita života, ekonomická a životní úroveň, hospodářský růst a ekonomický rozvoj, sociální stát a bariéry ekonomického růstu. Dále jsou pro potřeby této práce vybráný čtyři alternativní ukazatelé ekonomické a životní úrovně, které jsou stručně popsáný, vyzdvihnuty jejich nedostatky a komparovány s tradičními indikátory. Praktická část je zaměřena na hodnocení ekonomické a životní úrovně ČR. Pomocí těchto čtyř vybraných ukazatelů byla zhodnocena životní a ekonomická úroveň ČR v kontextu evropského regionu za pomocí pořadové statistiky a percentilového hodnocení. Následně jsou nastíněné možné příčiny zaostalosti daných oblastí a návrh možných opatření pro jejich zlepšení.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The thesis deals with the economic and living standard of the Czech Republic in the European region. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on defining the basic concepts that will help us outline this issue. These are the concepts of quality of life, economic and living standard growth and economic development, barriers to economic growth, welfare state, and barriers to economic growth. Furthermore, for the purposes of this study, four alternative indicators of economic and living standard were chosen. They are described briefly and comparated with traditional indicators, their weaknesses are highlighted. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of the economic and living standards of these indicators in order to determine the position of the Czech Republic in the context of the European region and the areas in which the Czech Republic is lagging behind other countries from using ordinal statistics and percentile evaluation. There are subsequently outlined possible causes of backwardness of the areas and the proposal of possible measures for improvement.	en
