dc.description.abstractThe subject of my bachelor's written work is a description of the activity of Probation and Mediation Service in The Czech Republic. The written work focuses mainly on the position which the Probation and Mediation Service of The Czech Republic gains in the field of restorative justice and how effective it is in its activity in the lives of people who entered into conflict with the law. Therefore the main aim of the work is to answer two main questions: - 1) What is the real experience of people working in the Probation and Mediation service referring to their position in the restorative justice system? - 2) What is the real experience of using the services offered by the Probation and Mediation service of The Czech Republic by the individuals who entered into conflict with the law? At the end of the bachelor's written work is a summary of facts which offers answers to the questions, mentioned above. This summary is based on the facts obtained by the study of literature, documents and interviews with the people working for the Probation and Mediation Service of The Czech Republic in Liberec. The information obtained from analzsis of the questionnaire carried out in Valdice prison was also used, as well as the results of the survey focusing on the public awareness of the importance of the probation and mediation.en
dc.description.abstractPředmětem bakalářské práce je popis činnosti Probační a mediační služby České republiky. Práce se zaměřuje především na to, jakou pozici zaujímá Probační a mediační služba ČR v restorativní justici, a dále na to, jakou roli hraje svou činností v životě lidí, kteří se dostali do konfliktu se zákonem. Proto je jejím hlavním cílem zodpovědět dvě stěžejní otázky: "Jaká je reálná zkušenost pracovníků probační a mediační služby, co se týče jejich pozice v systému restorativní justice, a jaká je reálná zkušenost s využíváním služeb nabízených Probační a mediační službou České republiky jedinci, kteří se dostali do konfliktu se zákonem." Na základě údajů získaných studiem literatury a dokumentů, z rozhovorů s pracovníky Probační a mediační služby ČR, pracoviště Liberec, a z údajů, vyplývajících z analýzy dotazníkového šetření ve věznici ve Valdicích a anketního šetření o povědomí o významu probace a mediace, jsou v závěru práce shrnuta fakta, která nabízejí odpověď na zmíněné otázky.cs
