dc.description.abstractThis bachelor thesis deals with the problem of seniors undergoing hospital treatment and aftercare in their homes and is based on the present state and demografic development. The aim of this work is to compare the life of seniors in aftercare with the hospital facility care. The aim was for the most part achieved but it is not possible to definitely say which care is particularly more advantagous. The work comprises two significant areas. The first area is theoretical which states the terms senior, senior in hospital facility care and senior in aftercare and is based on professional resources. The practical area is focused on the research of statistical figures. The evaluated data point out increasing number of seniors in society and result in precautions concerning necessicity of arranging more services for seniors in aftercare and increasing the number of beds in hospital care facilities in desired quality. The greatest contribution of this work is the explanation of senior issues from different points of view and surveys the development of the senior status.en
dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou seniorů v domácí a ústavní péči a vycházela ze současného stavu a demografického vývoje. Jejím cílem bylo porovnání života seniorů v domácí péči s péčí v ústavním zařízení. Cíle bylo z větší části dosaženo, avšak není možno konstatovat jednoznačné zvýhodnění určité péče o seniory. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů popisovala seniora, seniora v domácí péči a seniora v ústavní péči. Praktická část se zabývala studiem dokumentů a to konkrétně statistických údajů. Zhodnocené údaje upozornily na rostoucí zastoupení seniorů ve společnosti a vyústily v navrhovaná opatření v nutnosti zajištění většího množství služeb pro seniory v domácí péči a dále zvýšení kapacity lůžek ústavních zařízení v požadované kvalitě. Za největší přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat přiblížení seniora z různých pohledů a vývoje jeho statusu.cs
