Abstract
Projekt Liget Budapest přichází s ojedinělým zevrubným cílem obnovy a aktivace městského parku Városliget v Budapešti. Součástí tohoto záměru je i výstavba nové muzejní čtvrti, která jednoznačně posiluje představenou koncepci parku jako zřetelného kulturně-rekreačního prostoru uvnitř města. Práce se zabývá posledním problematickým objektem Maďarské Národní galerie a Ludwig Musea z pětice nových budov muzejní čtvrti, který jako jediný neshledal vítěze v mezinárodní architektonické soutěži. Návrh proto k řešení přistupuje zcela svobodně a snaží se nalézt a využít potenciál místa, reagovat na nové prostorové uspořádání a nově formovat veřejný a kulturní prostor k prezentaci maďarského umění.
Project Liget Budapest presents unique aim of comprehensive recovery and revival of city park Városliget in Budapest. Part of it is construction of the new museum district, which clearly strengthens the introduced concept of park as cultural and recreational space within the town. The project deals with design of the last remaining problematic object of Hungarian National Gallery and the Museum Ludwig in the museum district. One of the five new buildings didn´t find a winner in an international architectural competition yet and therefore also the presented proposal is designed freely without strict rules. The aim was to find and use the potential of the space, which can respond to the new spatial arrangement and shape new public and cultural space for the presentation of Hungarian art.
