dc.description.abstractThis thesis describes comprehensively the state of the Czech insurance market due to the development of insurance frauds in the various areas of insurance. At first, the thesis defines the concept of the insurance fraud, which is to be distinguished from the general fraud, its regulation and suggests ways of committing insurance fraud. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes insurance frauds in various fields of insurance, the method of perpetration, including examples from the practice and subsequently there will be explained their possible causes and discusses the potential impacts both in terms of insurance and from the perspective of their clients. The paper also deals with developments in the detection of insurance frauds, evaluates and identifies a potential approach to a prevention in this issue, describes indicators of insurance fraud and registers compiled by insurance companies which can provide an early detection of possible attempts to commit an insurance fraud. In conclusion, this thesis deals with the analysis of insurance frauds in the field of car insurance, as well as with areas with the highest number of incidences of insurance fraud.en
dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce komplexně popisuje stav českého pojistného trhu vzhledem k vývoji pojistných podvodů v jednotlivých oblastech pojištění. Nejprve práce definuje pojem pojistný podvod, který je třeba odlišit od obecného podvodu, jeho právní úpravu a nastiňuje možné způsoby páchání pojistných podvodů. Dále práce analyzuje pojistné podvody v různých oblastech pojištění, metody jejich páchání včetně uvedení názorných příkladů z praxe a následně jsou vysvětlovány jejich možné příčiny a rozebírá možné dopady jak z pohledu pojišťoven, tak z pohledu jejich klientů. Práce se též věnuje vývoji v oblasti odhalování pojistných podvodů, zhodnocuje a vymezuje možný přístup k prevenci v rámci této problematiky, popisuje indikátory pojistných podvodů a registry, díky kterým mohou včas pojišťovny detekovat pokus o možné spáchání pojistného podvodu. Na závěr se tato diplomová práce věnuje analýze pojistných podvodů v rámci pojištění automobilů, jakožto oblasti s nejvyšším výskytem pojistných podvodů.cs
