Abstract
Práce se věnuje místům paměti spojenými s osobností a činností Františka Ladislava Riegra a jeho památkám v okolí města Semily. Zaměřuje se na nevýznamnější památky, jež byli v Semilech a okolí vybudovány. Mapuje je v kontextu vzniku a souvislostech, které vážou Riegrovu osobu s regionem. Na základě archivního výzkumu také hodnotí u některých komemorací postoje zastupitelů města v letech 1948-1989 k jejich existenci. Zvláště pak na vybraných památkách zkoumá pojetí a oslavování osobnosti F. L. Riegra v průběhu let. Vychází ze současné literatury, dobových periodik a pramenů uložených ve Statním okresním archivu v Semilech.
This thesis is focused on monuments of the Czech politician František Ladislav Rieger in the Semily region. It is targeting the most well known monuments that were in the Semily region built. They are being mapped in the context of their creation and relation of F. L. Rieger to the region. Based on the archive findings it evaluates the attitude of the leading representatives of the municipality in the years 1948-1989 to their existence. In particular, it studies the celebration of the F. L. Rieger persona based on the information gathered to some of those monuments. The work is based on contemporary literature, local periodicals of that time and on historical sources stored in State district archive in Semily.
