Abstract
Diplomová práce s názvem Předmětové soutěže základních škol v Libereckém okrese je sestavena ze sedmi hlavních kapitol. Prvních čtyři kapitoly se věnují teoretickým vý-chodiskům, konkrétně tedy koncepci vědomostních soutěží, které vyhlašuje Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy jejich organizaci, členění, cílům a dalšími okruhy, které se soutěžemi souvisí, jako je například program Excelence, Národní institut dalšího vzdělávání či obecné seznámení s koncepcí soutěží na Slovensku. Následně věnuji kapi-tolu motivaci, která je pro soutěže klíčová. Dále se věnuji termínům jako je nadání, talent a inteligence, protože dle MŠMT jsou soutěže a olympiády nástrojem ve vzdělávacím systému, dle kterého lze identifikovat nadané žáky. Závěr teoretické části je věnován vývojovému období starší školní věk, protože se ve své práci zabývám pouze žáky dru-hého stupně. Pátá kapitola se věnuje metodologii výzkumu, zdůrazňuje cíl práce, dílčí cíle práce, použité metody, skupiny respondentů, kterými byly vybrané základní školy a předsedové a členové odborných hodnotících komisí. Dílčí cíle práce jsou následující: Na základě analýzy dostupných dat zjistit a graficky znázornit úspěšnost vybraných základních škol ve vědomostních soutěžích. Na základě rozhovorů s respondenty zpra-covat přednosti a nedostatky koncepce vědomostních soutěží. Navrhnout změny v orga-nizaci a fungování vědomostních soutěží. V šesté kapitole je pak provedena interpretace zjištěných výsledků, nejprve z analýzy dat a následně z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. V závěru diplomové práce jsou výsledky vyhodnocovány a diskutovány. Všechny pře-dem stanovené cíle byly splněny.
The thesis Subject related contests and competitions of Primary schools in the Liberec district consists of 7 main chapters. The first four chapters deal with the theoretical background, namely the concept of knowledge contests announced by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, with their organization, division, goals and other areas related to contests, such as the Excellence program, the Na-tional Institute of Further Education or general acquaintance with the concept of contests in Slovakia. The following chapter is dedicated to motivation, which is the key factor for contests. I also deal with terms such as endowment, talent and intel-ligence since, according to Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, contests and olympics are a tool in the educational system according to which gifted students can be identified. The conclusion of the theoretical part is dedicated to the devel-opmental period of older school age as in my work I only deal with second grade pupils. The fifth chapter deals with research methodology, emphasises the aim of the work, the partial goals of the work, the methods used, the groups of respond-ents who were the selected primary schools and chairpersons and members of pan-els of experts. The partial goals of the work are the following: Based on the analysis of available data, to determine and graphically represent the success of selected primary schools in knowledge contests. Based on interviews with the respondents, process the advantages and disadvantages of the concept of knowledge contests. Propose changes in the organization and functioning of knowledge contests. In the sixth chapter, the interpretation of the obtained results is performed, first from the data analysis and then from the semi-structured interviews. At the end of the di-ploma thesis, the results are evaluated and discussed. All predetermined goals were met.
