Abstract
This diploma work deals with the testing for the use of inorganic-organic hybrid layers prepared of sol-gel method for fixation of TiO2 nanoparticles. The work is divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. The techniques of layers preparation by the method of sol-gel and the characteristics of surface properties of layers and TiO2 nanoparticles are described in the theoretical part. The experimental part is focused on the coating of layers by the method of sol- -gel on an untreated cotton and polyester textile fabric, on a polyamide foil, and on a nanofiber sheet. The surface of these treated materials has been analyzed by means of a scanning electron microscopy. Abrasion resistances of the surface of the material, photo catalytic properties, and UV permeability have also been studied. The evaluation of the results in terms of the application in the textile industry is mentioned at the final part of the diploma work.
