Abstract
The bachelor's thesis aims to compile a program of leisure activities focused on exploring nature for children aged 7 to 10. In the first part, the work focuses on the developmental psychology of children in early and middle school age. Furthermore, the work defines concepts such as nature protection, forestry, and hunting. The work also presents local opportunities for leisure activities. The second part is focused on the program of leisure activities, which the author of this work created. The circle called Young foresters is designed to get to know nature and voluntarily seek nature in children's free time. Furthermore, the program should develop a positive attitude towards nature in children. The implementation of the compiled program was complicated by the unfavorable situation with the spread of COVID 19. It was possible to meet with the children personally only for three times. To at least partially test the proposed program, the circle was held on-line. The work discusses the differences between the circle in the form of face-to-face and distance meetings. Furthermore, the tested activities are summarized in terms of their time allocation, suitability to deepen knowledge of nature and, last but not least, whether the activities attracted children. The bachelor's thesis aims to compile a program of leisure activities focused on exploring nature for children aged 7 to 10.
