dc.description.abstract	This bachelor thesis is devoted to the thematic of the Frontier-Guard in the Liberec region during the years 1948-1968. The focus was centered around the origins and further development of the Frontier Guard teams, with a special emphasis on the organization structure of these units, as well as on their service performance, mainly in the context of the attempts of crossing the state border. The study targets at their number, the destination of the so-called intruder and whether he/she was shot during the attempt. I probe into the conditions of placing to the Guard, which seems to have been interconnected to a certain extent with the social background of the individual members. Attention is further paid to the relations of the members of the Guard with the local civilians. The conditions in the North were more complicated in this respect, as the region had high population density that reached to the borderline, for whose crossing quite frequently sufficed to cross the street. The conclusion is devoted to the comparison of the situation in the northern section of the frontiers to that in the other sections, including the border with Germany and Austria as well as that with Poland. The assessments that ensued are based on the comparative analysis of the organization, number of crossing border attempts, number of shot-dead persons and the relations with civilians. The theme was elaborated on the basis of the literature study, source research and witness testimonies.	en
dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce je věnována tématice Pohraniční stráže na Liberecku v letech 1948 ? 1968. Pozornost je věnována vzniku a vývoji pohraničních jednotek, obzvláště pak organizační struktuře těchto jednotek, ale i vlastnímu výkonu služby, především pak pokusům o přechod státní hranice. Zde byl zkoumán jejich počet, cíl, kam tzv. narušitel postupoval a zda byl někdo při tomto pokusu zastřelen, dále pak jaké byly podmínky pro přiřazení k Pohraniční stráži, jenž se do určité míry zdá být spojeno se sociálním původem jednotlivých příslušníků. Pozornost věnuji i soužití členů Pohraniční stráže s místním civilním obyvatelstvem. Situace v severním pohraničí byla v tomto ohledu komplikovanější, protože to byla oblast s vysokou hustotou osídlení doléhající až k hraniční čáře. Nebylo výjimkou, že překročit státní hranici znamenalo pouze přejít ulici. Závěr práce je věnován porovnání situace v severočeském úseku s úseky dalšími, mezi něž patří i hranice se Spolkovou republikou Německo a s Rakouskem, ale také hranice s Polskem. Srovnání se týká organizace, překračování hranic, počtu zastřelených osob a také soužití s nevojenskými osobami. Téma je zpracováno na základě rešerše literatury, pramenného výzkumu a výpovědí svědků.	cs
