Abstract
Cílem této bakalářské práce s názvem Vzdělávání odsouzených jako forma terciární prevence je zjistit, jaký vliv má zvyšování stupně vzdělání při výkonu trestu odnětí svobody odsouzených na snižování recidivy. Práce je primárně určena expertům z oboru vězeňství i široké veřejnosti jako výchozí materiál ke vzdělávání ve vězení. První část práce je věnována teoretickým poznatkům, které se týkají vězeňského prostředí a vzdělávání odsouzených ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Druhou část tvoří výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem je zjistit, jaký vliv má zvyšování stupně vzdělání při výkonu trestu odnětí svobody odsouzených na snižování recidivy. V rámci práce je využito analýzy odborných dokumentů a expertního dotazníkového šetření. Na základě získaných dat a jejich analýzy jsou v práci verifikovány stanovené hypotézy. Za největší přínos práce lze považovat zjištění, že dle expertů působících v oblasti vězeňství lze dosažený stupeň vzdělání považovat za výhodu terciární prevence. Pro rozšíření výsledků práce se doporučuje provést výzkum, nejlépe metodou rozhovoru, který by měl být zaměřen na oblast efektivnosti jednotlivých vzdělávacích aktivit ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, především jestli naplňují svůj záměr.
The object of this bachelor thesis named The education of prisoners as a form of tertiary prevention is to determine how does raising the prisoner's level of education during the imprisonment influence reducing recidivism. Despite this thesis is mainly dedicated to experts from the penitentiary branch, it might as well serve the general public as basic material to penitentiary education. The first part of the thesis elaborates theoretical knowledge about the prison environment and the schooling within. The second part consists of a research that is aimed to determine how does raising the prisoner's level of education during the imprisonment influence reducing recidivism. The main framework of this thesis is processing of vocational documents and analyzing the expert survey included. Based on the analysis of acquired data, stated hypotheses are verified. According to experts working in the prison system, the achieved level of education can be considered as an advantage of tertiary prevention. This finding is to be reckoned as the greatest acquisition of this thesis. For the dissemination of the works results, it is advised to use conversation as the best method of the research. The conversations should be centered on the effectiveness of various educational activities in prison, especially whether they fulfill their initial intentions.
