dc.description.abstractThe bachelor thesis treats the function of the Probation and Mediation Service focused on community service. The purpose of this thesis was to describe special characteristics of sentencing and execution of punishment in the jurisdiction of the Sokolov region. The goal was fulfilled. The thesis was divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The aim of the theoretical part was to characterize the purpose of punishment and punishing, the concept of restorative justice, the activities of the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic, the significance and legislative adjustment of community service punishment. The goal of the practical part was to find out, by means of a structured interview with nine judges of the District Court of Sokolov, some features of their decision-making process during sentencing and execution of community service. The results showed the practical problems and aimed at concrete proposals of measures. The greatest contribution of this thesis was to find out the judges{\crq} opinions on the significance of the community service punishment and their decision-making in the preliminary and execution procedure.en
dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývala činností Probační a mediační služby zaměřené na trest obecně prospěšných prací. Cílem práce bylo charakterizovat specifika ukládání a výkonu trestu obecně prospěšných prací v soudním okrese Sokolov. Cíl se podařil naplnit. Práce byla rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část pojednávala o účelu trestu a trestání, konceptu restorativní justice, činnosti Probační a mediační služby ČR, významu a legislativní úpravě trestu obecně prospěšných prací. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí strukturovaného rozhovoru s 9 soudci Okresního soudu v Sokolově některé charakteristiky jejich rozhodovacího procesu při ukládání a výkonu trestu obecně prospěšných prací. Výsledky ukazovaly problémy v praxi a směřovaly ke konkrétním navrhovaným opatřením. Největším přínosem práce bylo zjištění názorů soudců na význam trestu obecně prospěšných prací a jejich rozhodování v přípravném a vykonávacím řízení.cs
