dc.description.abstractThis work concentrates on the description of problems connected with computer networks. The main goal is to aggregate and describe all information needed to understand the operation of computer network in corporate sphere. In this work I would like to concentrate not only on the theoretic and generally known problems, but also describe my own knowledge and observations that I gained during my woring experience in the company Liberecká IS, a.s. In the practical part I describe the process of optimalization of computer network in the company named above. The work is divided into three parts: Design of computer network, Monitoring of computer network and Operation of computer network. In the part named Design of computer network, there are the basic information concerning network units and the communication between them. In the second part Monitoring of computer network I describe the ways of how to manage network and two approaches used by the company Liberecká, a.s. The last part deals with the operation of computer network, outsourcing and relevant costs.en
dc.description.abstractTato práce se zaměřuje na popis problematiky počítačových sítí. Cílem je shromáždit a popsat všechny potřebné informace k pochopení provozu počítačové sítě v podnikové sféře. Kromě teoretických a obecně známých informací v této práci popisuji své poznatky a postřehy, které jsem získal během své praxe ve firmě Liberecká IS, a.s. Praktická část popisuje postup, jakým firma vedla svou cestu k optimalizaci správy své sítě. Celá práce je rozdělena na části: Design počítačové sítě, Monitoring počítačové sítě a Provoz počítačové sítě. Obsahem kapitoly Design počítačové sítě jsou základní informace o síťových prvcích a komunikaci mezi nimi. V druhé kapitole Monitoring počítačové sítě popisuji způsoby managementu provozu sítě a dva nástroje používané firmou Liberecká IS, a.s. Poslední kapitola se zabývá provozem počítačové sítě, outsourcingu a náklady spojené s ním.cs
