dc.description.abstractThis Bachelor Thesis focuses on the issue of alternative communication with the physically handicapped senior citizen. It starts from a current approach to the old age and senior citizens. The fundamental aim was to find out if the staff of the day care centres is fully or at least partially informed about how to use the alternative possibilities of communication with the physically handicapped senior citizen. The thesis consists of two parts. Firstly, the theoretical section, where the notions from specialized literature, which were used in the practical section, were defined. Secondly, the practical section in which was made an inquiry, with the help of questionaries and interviews, on how high is the level of informedness of the day care centres in the Liberec Region. Only seven, from the total number of fifteen questionaries sent, were filled in. The results showed that the majority is hardly informed about it at all, which is closely connected with an insufficient education of the personnel. Therefore the improvement of the education of the personnel was proposed. Further on, it would be appropriate for the staff to be better informed about the leisure activities offered to the senior citizens and then to arrange these activities for them. For the biggest benefit of this Bachelor Thesis concerning the issue of alternative communication with the physically handicapped senior citizen we can consider the higher level of informedness and alternative solutions in the case of communication with the senior citizen, not only for the non-professional public, but even for social workers, who are employed in field of looking after the senior citizens.en
dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou alternativní komunikace se zdravotně postiženým seniorem. Vycházela z dnešního pohledu na stáří a přístup k seniorům. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda jsou pracovníci pečovatelských domů plně či alespoň částečně informováni o využívání alternativních možností v komunikaci se zdravotně postiženým seniorem. Práci tvořily dvě části. Teoretická část, kde byly vymezeny pojmy, které byly nastudovány z odborné literatury a použity v části praktické. V praktické části byla zjišťována pomocí dotazníku a rozhovorů informovanost pracovníků domů s pečovatelskou službou v Libereckém kraji. Z celkového počtu 15 rozeslaných dotazníků bylo vyplněno pouze 7. Výsledky ukázaly, že většina není vůbec informována v oblasti daného tématu, což souvisí i s nedostatečným vzděláním personálu. Proto bylo navrženo zlepšení vzdělání pracovníků v této oblasti. Dále by bylo vhodné informovat se více o volnočasových aktivitách pro seniory a zprostředkovávat je. Za největší přínos bakalářské práce s problematikou komunikace se zdravotně postiženým seniorem by bylo možné považovat větší informovanost a alternativní řešení v komunikaci se seniorem nejen pro laickou veřejnost, ale i pro pracovníky, kteří jsou zaměstnáni v přímé péči o seniora.cs
