dc.description.abstractOur thesis is focused on impacts of the world financial crisis and particularly on automobile industry where the impacts were among the hardest. This thesis describes the evolution of the world and regional car markets. Furthermore it describes the effects of the economic crisis especially on the U.S. car companies. The main part is dedicated to the automotive manufacturer Škoda Auto, which despite the economic depression has hold positive operating result in the years 2008 and 2009. The sales of passenger cars of Škoda Auto have reached the record numbers in the entire company history. The second part is focused on the government promotion for a purchase of a new car, called a ?scrapping fee?. It describes the evolution of this governmental support in Germany and the Slovak Republic. Our own analysis describes how the profit and sales of Skoda cars would increase if the ?scrapping fee? was introduced last year also in the Czech Republic. Our work also contains a calculation of what would be the contribution to the State Treasury in the form of invoiced VAT from the increased number of the cars sold.en
dc.description.abstractAnotace Diplomová práce je zaměřená na dopady ekonomické krize, které nejvíce postihly automobilový průmysl. Je zde popsán celosvětový ale i regionální vývoj automobilových trhů. Dále jsou zde popsány následky, které zanechala ekonomická krize, a to především na amerických automobilkách. Hlavní část je věnována automobilce Škoda Auto, která i přes působící ekonomickou krizi obstála s kladným hospodářským výsledkem jak v roce 2008, tak i v roce 2009. V rámci prodejů osobních vozů dosáhla společnost Škoda Auto rekordního počtu prodaných vozů v celé historii firmy. Další část diplomové práce je věnována podpoře na koupi nového vozu, tzv. šrotovného. Popisuji vývoj této podpory ve SRN a na Slovensku. Vlastní analýza popisuje, jak by se zvýšily prodeje vozů Škoda a následně zisk, pokud by bylo v minulém roce zavedeno šrotovné v České republice. Je zde také počítáno, kolik peněz by mohlo přijít zpět do státní pokladny ve formě vyfakturované daně z přidané hodnoty.cs
