Abstract
Regiony jsou součástí většiny státních útvarů, které dělí stát na větší či menší celky. Tyto celky, ač mohou být velmi podobné, se liší a díky tomu zde probíhá rozdílný regionální rozvoj. Na základě toho začali ekonomové vymýšlet různé teorie, proč existují rozdíly v regionálním rozvoji a jak je nejlépe odstranit. Teorie regionálního rozvoje se liší podle toho, jakým ekonomickým směrem se autor řídil. Tato diplomová práce zjišťuje, zda a jaké teorie regionálního rozvoje byly aplikovány v České republice a její regionální politice. Nejprve jsou definovány ekonomické směry a jejich vybrané teorie. Dále je charakterizovaná česká regionální politika od jejích začátků v České republice, která je rozdělena na pět období rozdělených podle regionálních milníků. Nakonec jsou vybrané teorie komparovány s regionální politikou a je zhodnoceno, jaké teorie tu byly aplikovány.
Regions are part of most states and countries, which are by regions divided into larger or smaller units. These units, although very similar, are different and due to that there is a difference in a regional development. Based on this, economists began to come up with various theories, why there are differences in the regional development and how to eliminate them in the best way. Theories differ according to the economic direction in which the author is driven. This diploma thesis finds out, if and what theories of the regional development have been applied in the Czech Republic and its regional policy. First the economic directions and the chosen theories are defined. Then the Czech regional policy is characterized from its beginning in the Czech Republic, which is divided into five periods by regional milestones. In the end the chosen theories are compared to the regional policy and it is evaluated which theories have been applied in the Czech Republic.
