Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá současným životem muslimů na území České republiky. Práce se věnuje zásadním informacím o muslimech a hlavním aspektům jejich života. Dále se zaměřuje na historický kontext, jenž přibližuje vývoj muslimské přítomnosti na českém území a zároveň osvětluje zdejší současnou situaci. Zabývá se též organizacemi, které zastřešují a podněcují jejich společenský a náboženský život. Závěr je věnován tématu islamofobie a mediálním kauzám, které jsou s ní spojené.
The bachelor thesis deals with the contemporary life of Muslims in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on essential information about Muslims and the main aspects of their life. Furthermore, it focuses on the historical context, which presents the development of the Muslim presence on the Czech territory and at the same time illuminates the current situation here. It also deals with the organisations that represent and stimulate their social and religious life. The bachelor thesis concludes with the topic of Islamophobia and the media scandals associated with it.
