Abstract
Cílem této bakalářské práce s názvem Přínos Vilfreda Pareta pro manažerské rozhodování je stanovení významnosti Pravidla 80/20 jakožto manažerského nástroje sloužícího pro rozhodování. Celá práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V první části je popsána samotná osobnost Vilfreda Pareta a jeho přínos pro ekonomii. Dále je zde charakterizováno samotné Pravidlo 80/20. V druhé kapitole jsou uvedeny některé možné aplikace tohoto pravidla v manažerské praxi a jiné manažerské rozhodovací techniky. Ve třetí kapitole autor práce formuluje kritiku fungovaná Pravidla 80/20. Čtvrtá kapitola verifikuje Paretova principu na reálných datech z manažerského prostředí. V závěru práce je shrnuto závěrečné doporučení doplněné o některé návrhy řešení daných situací.
The main objective of this thesis is to determine the relevancy of the 80/20 Principle as a managerial decision-making technique. The whole thesis is divided into four parts. A theoretical part including a description of Vilfredo Pareto and his contribution to Economics has been placed at the beginning of this thesis followed by a brief explanation of the 80/20 Principle. The second chapter of this thesis describes the possible usages of this principle in managerial decision-making processes. Several other decision-making techniques are pointed out in this chapter as well. This thesis includes a short Criticism of the 80/20 Principle in the third chapter. The last chapter consists of several verification attempts. Author has aimed to validate the functionality of the 80/20 Principle on selected managerial data provided by several establishments.
