Abstract
To ovšem nebrání tomu, aby se slyšící dítě přirozenou cestou naučilo i mluvený jazyk většinové společnosti, protože jej kolem sebe slyší. Dítě tedy vyrůstá v bilingválním a bikulturním prostředí.
Deaf parents usually communicate through sign language between themselves. This way of communicatin may be the first communication model for their children regardless of the child´s hearing state. That is the reason why sign language may be the first tongue which their hearing child masters and is fluent in it. Nevertheless, it doesn´t prevent the hearing child to master the language of the major society, because he or she can hear it around and learn it by a natural way. So the child is raised bilingually and biculturally. If there is nobody else, who would help to the Deaf parents, the child often becomes {\clqq}a bridge`` between his or her Deaf parents and the hearing people around them. The young hearing child sometimes serves to their Deaf parents as their interpreter, even in some situation inadequate to the age of the child, what may be harmful to him or her. The author has a deep insight into the specific situation because he was rasised in a Deaf family himself and in his thesis, he shares a lot of his personal experience. In this Bachelor thesis, there are also many information explaining how a hearing child in a Deaf family feels and his or her responsibilities. There are also many resources and advices available to help protect hearing children of Deaf parents from many of the issues discussed when those situations arise.
