dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce rozebírá, jak si východoevropští filmaři v 60. letech 20. století přivlastnili a interpretovali westernový žánr tak, aby odrážel místní politické a kulturní narativy. Porovnáním filmů Limonádový Joe (1964) a Synové Velké Medvědice (1966) se zabývá tím, jak dva filmy z Československa a východního Německa adaptují filmový western k vyjádření satiry, ideologie a národní identity. Práce nastiňuje širší historický a politický kontext východoevropské kinematografie během studené války a klade si za cíl prozkoumat společné rysy a ideologické funkce obou filmů. Studie, čerpající z filmové teorie a historické analýzy, osvětluje, jak tyto filmy využívají westernový styl a narativ k propojení témat o kapitalismu, socialismu, odboje a konzumu.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The thesis investigates how Eastern European filmmakers in the 1960s appropriated and reinterpreted the Western genre to reflect local political and cultural narratives. By comparing Lemonade Joe (1964) and Sons of the Great Bear (1966), it examines how two films from Czechoslovakia and East Germany, respectively, adapt Western tropes to convey satire, ideology, and national identity. The thesis outlines the broader historical and political context of Eastern European cinema during the Cold War, and aims to explore shared features and ideological functions of both films. Drawing from film theory and historical analysis, the study promises to shed light on how these films use style and narrative to engage with themes of capitalism, socialism, resistance, and consumerism.	en
