Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá oblastí Zakavkazska a je rozdělena na dvě části. V první části je popsán historický vývoj území Zakavkazska od 16. století až do vzniku jednotlivých kavkazských republik. V druhé části je popsán politický vývoj jednotlivých států od vzniku až po současnost. Důraz je hlavně kladen na diplomatické vztahy konkrétních států. Cílem práce je podat přehledný souhrn geopolitických vztahů v regionu.
The bachelor thesis deals with the Transcaucasia region and is divided into two parts. The first part describes the historical development of the Transcaucasian territory from the 16th century until the establishment of the individual Caucasian republics. The second part describes the political development of the individual states from the establishment to the present day. The emphasis is mainly on the diplomatic relations of specific states. The aim of the work is to give a clear summary of geopolitical relations in the region.
