Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou účesu a úpravy vlasů. V první části práce je představena biologická podstata vlasů a jsou definovány pojmy, které s vlasy úzce souvisí. Práce přibližuje díla a teorie vybraných badatelů, kteří se proble-matikou zabývali z hlediska antropologie. Také se zaměřuje na vlasy, jejich funkci a význam v minulosti a proměnu v současnosti obecně v sociálně kulturním kontextu. Praktická část zjišťuje, jaké konkrétní významy má úprava vlasů pro respondenty a zkoumá, zda plní vlasy tradiční funkce i v moderní společnosti.
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of hairstyles and hair styling. In the first part of the thesis, the biological nature of hair is introduced and the terms closely related to hair are defined. It also presents the works and theories of selected scholars who have dealt with the issue from the anthropological point of view. It also focuses on hair, its function and its importance in the past, and also its transformation in the pre-sent in a general socio-cultural context. The practical part identifies the specific mea-nings of hair styling for the respondents and examines whether hair performs traditio-nal functions even in modern society.
