dc.description.abstractThis diploma thesis deals with the implementation of ERP systems in small and medium enterprises as tools for process management in the use of information systems. It is intended to all operators who consider information technology as its corporate priority, which means a possibility of a better market position achievement. It is also supposed to be used as an instrument for all information managers or other executives, who plan on implementation or upgrade of ERP inside the company. Information systems and technologies play a significant role in the corporation?s processes today and markedly influence the overall rate of success or failure of the company in the market. A large number of modern and progressive corporations based their success on the IT. What is also true though that the information technologies of a wide range of economic subjects in the Czech Republic are nothing more than missed opportunity, bringing minimal economic effects. Successful implementation of ERP systems enables businesses to improve information processes, detailed and current reports on business performance and thereby gain the necessary competitive edge. The aim of this work is to record and describe the most important processes in the enterprise, define all the necessary steps for establishing an information system and identify possible causes of failure in implementation. Further describe the current situation in the field of ERP systems in the Czech Republic, and to estimate future trends.en
dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zavádění ERP systémů v malých a středních podnicích jako nástrojů pro řízení procesů při využívání informačních systémů. Je určena všem subjektům, které považují informační technologie za svou firemní prioritu, jejichž prostřednictvím je možné dosáhnout lepší tržní pozice. Zároveň by měla sloužit jako pomůcka pro všechny informační manažery, či jiné zodpovědné řídící pracovníky, plánující implementaci či upgrade informačního systému ve firmě. Informační systémy a technologie hrají v současné době významnou úlohu v procesech firem a výrazně ovlivňují celkovou úspěšnost a neúspěšnost podniku na trhu. Velké množství moderních, progresivních firem na IT postavilo úspěšný byznys. Je však také pravdou, že informační technologie celé řady ekonomických subjektů v České Republice nejsou ničím jiným, než nevyužitou příležitostí přinášející minimální ekonomické efekty. Úspěšné zavedení ERP systémů umožňuje podnikům zlepšit informační procesy, mít detailní a aktuální přehledy o výkonnosti podniku a tím získat potřebný náskok před konkurencí. Cílem této práce je zaznamenat a popsat nejdůležitější procesy v podniku, definovat veškeré potřebné kroky pro zavedení informačního systému a vymezit možné příčiny neúspěchu při zavádění. Dále popsat současnou situaci v oblasti ERP systémů v České republice, odhadnout budoucnost a nové trendy.cs
