Abstract
Republiky. Jedná se o trojmezí Čech, Saska a Bavorska. Je obklopeno přírodním parkem
Smrčiny a metaforicky uzavřeno spletitou sítí potoků.
The last farewell to the deceased in the past included a promise that the deceased would always be remembered. The grave was a place of remembrance for the bereaved, representing our culture and history. The cemetery became a chronicle of humanity. The diversity of society, the form and location of the cemetery, the meaning and tradition of burial changed over the years, influenced not only by religious, social and financial circumstances, but also by sheer human disinterest. There are more and more abandoned and lonely people in society who have no one to remember them after death. Social burials are on the increase, and cemeteries are creating common graves. They become places of oblivion. Since time immemorial, the traditions of the ritual of burial have been highly respected and honoured; it should be so for the lonely. The aim of the proposal is to create a place of dignified final farewell to the abandoned or the lonely. The location of the burial ground is at the very tip of the western tip of the Bohemian Republic. It is a tri-border of Bohemia, Saxony and Bavaria. It is surrounded by a natural park Smrčiny and metaphorically enclosed by an intricate network of streams. Historically, it was the former Sudetenland. After the Germans left, the area was abandoned and became a no-man's land. The choice of the site, the connection to the landscape, its respect and the spatial layout were completely decisive for the development of the design. The design of the path, the chapel, the spring, the square and the place of dignified burial. "At a funeral, the deceased dies a second time, he dies for others, probably that is why the dignity of burial exceeds the dignity of dying, and so it should be for the lonely."
