Abstract
Cílem této diplomové práce je objasnit koncept druhého demografického přechodu a popsat ho jak v obecné rovině, tak ve specifických podmínkách České republiky. V praktické části je definováno sedm indikátorů, které tvoří základ pro prostorovou analýzu vývoje tohoto fenoménu na úrovni okresů (LAU1) v období 2001 až 2014. V závěru odpovídá práce na otázku, zda v České republice druhý demografický přechod skutečně existuje a jak se projevuje v jednotlivých regionech. Zmíněna je také část zabývající se aplikací konceptu do vzdělávání. Všechna data lze nalézt v rozsáhlé tabulkové a mapové příloze.
The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain the concept of the second demographic transition and to describe it not only generally, but also in specific conditions of the Czech Republic. In its practical part there are defined seven indicators, which form the basis for the spatial analysis of this phenomenon on the level of districts (LAU1) between the years 2001 and 2014. Finally, the question whether the second demographic transition in the Czech Republic exists and what are its effects in different regions is answered in the thesis. The application of the concept to education is included in the last chapter. All data are enclosed in vast table and map appendix.
