dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá řetězovými zlomky. Dělí se na tři hlavní části. První z nich je historie, poté úvod do teorie, kde se čtenář seznámí s vlastnostmi řetězových zlomků. Další část se zabývá využitím z hlediska aproximací, řešení algebraických a diofantických rovnic a tím, jak byly řetězové zlomky využity k navržení gregoriánského kalendáře a jak by bylo možné kalendář případně ještě zpřesnit.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The bachelor thesis deals with continued fractions. It is divided into three main parts. The first part describes in brief the history of the topic. Then an introduction to the theory follows, where the reader gets familiar to the properties of continued fractions. The next part discusses the uses in terms of approximations, solving algebraic and Diophantine equations, and how continued fractions were used to design the Gregorian calendar and how the calendar could possibly be made more accurate.	en
