Abstract
Bakalářská práce hledá odpověď na v současné době probíhající změnu typologie veřejných knihoven, nově integrujících i funkci komunitního centra. Architektonický návrh vychází z kontextu místa na Starém městě a vytváří obraz multifunkční městské budovy na hraně táborské ostrožny. V domě vznikají prostory pod prosklenou šikminou poskytující pokaždé jinou atmosféru, kam si lidé mohou přijít nejen číst a studovat, ale zatancovat si, posedět u kávy, navštívit divadelní představení nebo vyzkoušet si 3D tisk. Projekt reaguje na problematiku udržitelnosti použitím dřeva jako hlavního stavebního materiálu, ale i chytrým fungováním celého objektu.
The bachelor thesis is looking for an answer to the currently ongoing change in the typology of public libraries, newly integrating also the function of a community centre. The architectural design is based on the context of the site in the Old Town and creates an image of a multifunctional municipal building on the edge of the Tábor promontory. The building creates spaces under a glass slant providing a different atmosphere each time, where people can come not only to read and study but to dance, sit with a coffee, attend a theatre performance or try 3D printing. The project responds to the issue of sustainability by using wood as the main building material, but also by the smart functioning of the whole building.
