Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje románům spisovatele Karla Matěje Čapka-Choda, a to konkrétně těmto: Kašpar Lén mstitel, Antonín Vondrejc a Jindrové. Cílem práce je vyhledat, definovat, analyzovat a interpretovat groteskní rysy jednotlivých děl. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou definovány estetické kategorie groteskno, tragikomika a humor. Praktická část se věnuje osobě Karla Matěje Čapka-Choda, naturalismu a především projevům groteskna ve vybraných dílech.
This thesis deals with analysis of the selected novels by Karel Matěl Čapek-Chod, specifically the following: Kašpar Lén mstitel, Antonín Vondrejc and Jindrové. The goal is to find, define, analyse and interpret the grotesque features of individual works. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there are defined aesthetic categories grotesque, tragicomic vision and humor. The practical part deals with the person of Karel Matěj Čapek-Chod, naturalism and primarily grotesque manifestations in selected works.
