Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá sociální prací s cizinci. Text je rozdělen na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části jsou popsány největší problémové oblasti sociálního začlenění cizinců v České republice. Jedná se o oblast zaměstnávání cizinců, jazykovou bariéru a předsudky a xenofobní chování ze strany majoritní společnosti. Dále navazuje sociální práce s cizineckou klientelou a sociální služby s tím spojené.Empirická část se zabývá otázkou, jaké jsou z pohledu sociálních pracovníků největší problémové oblasti života cizinců v Praze a Středočeském kraji a dále, jak sociální práce napomáhá odstraňovat obtížnou životní situaci cizinců žijících na území České republiky.
This thesis deals with social work with foreigners. The text is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part the most problematic areas of social integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic are described. These are the areas of employment of foreigners, language barriers and prejudices and xenophobic behaviour from the part of the majority society. Then it is followed up with social work with foreign clients and social work related services.The empirical part deals with the question, what are, from social workers point of view, biggest problematic areas in the life of foreigners in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, and how social work helps to facilitate difficult life situation of foreigners living in the territory of the Czech Republic.
