Abstract
Práce zaměřuje na komplexní pohled na sociální, ekonomické a historické faktory, které
přispívají k marginalizaci Romů v České republice. Teoretická sekce se zabývá historií Romů,
jejich kulturními a sociálními aspekty, a rozebírá politické a legislativní kroky, které ovlivnily
jejich postavení ve společnosti. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu rozhovorů s Romy
z neziskových organizací, kteří popisují své zkušenosti s diskriminací a sociálním
vyloučením. Práce poskytuje důkladný pohled na překážky, kterým Romové čelí, a diskutuje
o možných řešeních pro zlepšení jejich situace v rámci integrace do majoritní společnosti.
The thesis focuses on a comprehensive view of the social, economic, and historical factors contributing to the marginalization of the Roma in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section deals with the history of the Roma, their cultural and social aspects, and discusses the political and legislative steps that have influenced their position in society. The practical part includes an analysis of interviews with Roma from non-profit organizations, who describe their experiences with discrimination and social exclusion. The thesis provides an in-depth look at the challenges the Roma face and discusses possible solutions to improve their situation in terms of integration into mainstream society.
