dc.description.abstract | Electric vehicles gain more importance due to environment protection policies as well as the technology of electric motors and batteries are in constant improvement. Some countries and companies are developing electric water crafts where usages could be military, transportation as well as private high speed and high efficiency vehicles. Progressive adoption of the water jet pump is achieved as cheaper materials are available on the market and the technology makes more affordable to implement these high speed propellers for water crafts. Materials must be taken into account in order to prevent corrosion, as well as the water jet pump must be designed according to a high efficiency electric motor as to minimize problems such as cavitation for maximum durability of the pump.In this thesis, designing a water jet pump for watercraft powered by an electric motor configure making a step forward on high quality electric vehicles design. | cs |
