Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením finanční výkonnosti podniku Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. a jejím následným srovnáním s konkurenčním podnikem Heineken Česká republika a.s. Hlavním motivem zvolení tohoto tématu je prohloubení znalostí finanční analýzy a pochopení operací používaných při finančním řízení podniku. Cílem této práce je prostřednictvím vybraných ukazatelů komplexně zhodnotit finanční situaci podniku Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. a poté interpretovat výsledné hodnoty. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy finanční analýzy a její metodiku. Praktická část aplikuje tyto metody na vybraný podnik a následně výsledky analýzy porovnává s konkurenčním podnikem.
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of a financial performance of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. and its subsequent comparison with the competitor Heineken Česká republika a.s. The main motive for choosing this topic is to deepen my knowledge of financial analysis and understand the operations used in company´s financial management. This thesis aims to evaluate the financial situation of Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. through selected indicators and then interpret the obtained values. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of financial analysis and its methodology. The practical part applies these methods to selected companies and then compares the analysis result with those of competing company.
