dc.description.abstract	This thesis aims to understand the relationship of China to the Euro-American world or to understand the relationship of the Euro-American world to China. This thesis will try to give an unbiased picture of China as a potential partner and not an enemy, as it is often described. The aim should also be to look at current problems, which China solves, or better to say will have to solve in the next 10 or 20 years, such as the problem of one-child policy and related issues in the demographic-economic profile of the country, problems with direct competitors of China with other Asian countries, the problems with ethnic minorities such as Tibetans and Uighurs, and the impacts of these potential conflicts on the economy of the country. We will also try to comprehend at least partly the Chinese mentality and how the Chinese way of thinking could or should influence us in both - the negative and the positive way.	en
dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl pochopit vztah Číny k euro-americkému světu resp. pochopit vztah euro-amerického světa k Číně. Práce se bude snažit podat nezaujatý obraz Číny jakožto možného partnera a nikoliv nepřítele, jak je velmi často vnímána. Cílem by rovněž mělo být podívat se na aktuální problémy, které Čína řeší resp. bude muset řešit v nejbližších 10 - 20 letech, jako je např. problém politiky jednoho dítěte a s tím spojené problémy v demograficko-ekonomickém profilu země, problémy s přímými konkurenty Číny z dalších asijských zemí, problémy s národnostními menšinami jako jsou Tibeťané a Ujguři a dopady těchto možných konfliktů na ekonomiku země. Budeme se zároveň snažit o alespoň částečné pochopení čínské mentality a toho, jak by nás myšlení Číňanů mohlo nebo mělo ovlivnit a to jak v negativním, tak i v tom pozitivním smyslu.	cs
