dc.description.abstractAchieving gender equality is now a key priority for the Czech Republic as well as the European Union. This issue promotes human rights and democratic principles in all social spheres. Its existence was recorded and somehow addressed in the Czech Republic long time ago, but only after joining the European Union, the concept had gotten a new perspective. The aim of this study is to assess the development of real incomes in the Czech Republic focusing on gender disparities and compare the situation with other EU countries. Finally, the paper demonstrates and analyze ideas and facts about the differences in women´s and men´s salaries, which were obtained by the students of Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Liberec.en
dc.description.abstractRovnost příležitostí pro muže a ženy patří k hlavním prioritám politiky České republiky a celé Evropské unie. Tato problematika je chápána jako součást prosazování lidských práv a samotných demokratických principů ve všech společenských sférách. Její existence byla v České republice zaznamenána a řešena již delší dobu, avšak teprve vstup do Evropské unie dává tomuto konceptu nový pohled. Cílem této práce je vyhodnocení vývoje reálných příjmů v České republice vzhledem k genderové disparitě a následné porovnání situace s dalšími zeměmi Evropské unie. V neposlední řadě dochází k demonstraci a komparaci představ a faktů o platovém ohodnocení obou pohlaví ze strany studentů Ekonomické fakulty Technické univerzity v Liberci.cs
