| dc.description.abstract | V této práci se zaměřuji na kontroverze budící nechtěný americký nálet na Prahu 14. 2. 1945 z pohledu civilních osob a dobového tisku. V práci se budu snažit analyzovat jak chyby, kvůli nímž byla Praha bombardována, tak i problematiku útoku samého. Dalšími tématy bude pak "pohled zdola", tedy pohled optikou Pražanů, jejich připravenost a edukovanost co dělat v případě hrozícího útoku shora, i jak fungovaly oficiální organizace, starající se o bezpečnost tváří v tvář vzdušnému nebezpečí. Hlavním přínosem pak bude využití dobových materiálů z kostelního archivu, jakési sondy do následků onoho náletu, tehdejších periodik a výpovědi svědků, jak již sepsaných, tak i získaných na základě osobního rozhovoru. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper focuses on the controversial and still-debated American air raid on Prague on February 14, 1945, particularly from the perspective of civilians and contemporary press coverage. The aim is to analyze both the errors and circumstances that led to the bombing and the course and consequences of the attack itself. Special attention is paid to the so-called "bottom-up perspective" - that is, how the event was perceived by the citizens of Prague, including their level of preparedness and awareness in the face of an aerial threat, and how the official organizations responsible for security in the face of aerial danger functioned.. The main contribution of this work lies in the interpretation of period sources, especially those from a church archive, providing a unique insight into the direct consequences of the bombing. Furthermore, the analysis draws on contemporary newspapers and eyewitness testimonies - both previously published and newly collected through personal interviews. | en |
